Full-Mouth Dental Implants in Missoula, MT
Full-mouth dental implants, also known as all-on-4 dental implants, denture implants, or permanent dentures, are a dental solution that replaces an entire row or both rows of teeth. Depending on your overall oral health, gums, and bone density, four to eight dental implants are placed below the gum line. Once healed, a complete set of permanent teeth is attached to the implants. Full-mouth dental implants offer a natural look and feel, making them the superior option for replacing teeth.
We’d love to discuss dental implant options more during a consultation. Schedule today to see if full-mouth dental implants are right for you!

How do full-mouth dental implants compare to dentures?
Full-mouth dental implants offer superior stability and function compared to traditional dentures. Unlike dentures, which rest on the gums, implants are anchored into the jawbone, preventing bone loss and offering a secure, natural feel. They allow for improved chewing, clearer speech, and greater confidence. While dentures may slip or require adhesives, implants remain firmly in place, making them a long-lasting, comfortable solution for complete smile restoration.

Are full-mouth dental implants painful?
Our team makes dental implant procedures as comfortable and pain-free as possible. You’ll have local anesthesia and we offer IV sedation.
IV sedation will help you feel relaxed during your procedure. Following your treatment, and once the numbness wears off, you may experience some mild pain and soreness, as well as some aches during the first week after the procedure. This should be minimal, though, and over-the-counter medication will help.

How long do full-mouth dental implants last?
Full-mouth dental implants are designed to be a long-lasting solution for tooth replacement. With proper care and regular dental visits, they can last 20 years or more, and in many cases, a lifetime. The titanium implants themselves fuse with the jawbone through osseointegration, providing a stable foundation. However, the prosthetic teeth (crowns or bridges) may need replacement after 10 to 15 years due to normal wear and tear.
